About WHCT
Helping West Hull to get out and about

West HullCommunity Transport has been helping the community in Hull to keep on the move for over seven years. We provide Dial-a-Ride services for people who find regular public transport difficult to use and a low-cost alternative to minibus hire for local community groups, clubs and associations through our Group Transport service.
In 2010 West Hull Community Transport became a part of CT Plus Humber, a new joint venture between leading local social enterprise Goodwin Development Trust and leading transport social enterprise HCT Group.
About the Goodwin Development Trust
Goodwin Development Trust was set up as a charitable organisation in 1994 by residents of the Thornton Estate in Hull who wanted to improve their quality of life and the services available on their estate. From this catalyst of community spirit and entrepreneurial drive has grown an organisation that truly reflects the ethos of social enterprise. It now employs over 300 staff with a turnover of £9.2 million working across 38 sites aiming to deliver services that improve the quality of life for residents throughout the city.
