Building skills and employability for our communities

The Learning Centre at HCT Group has been helping people to achieve their goals since 1995, providing skills and training programmes. We opened our doors in Leeds a few years ago with the same mission in mind. We deliver a broad range of courses and programmes – transport and driving, health and social care, customer service and many more.

One factor connects everything we do – your goals. We provide ongoing support, information and advice for our learners, helping them turn their course into an opportunity to pursue the careers they want. 

Our courses and programmes include:

Transport and driving courses: We are experts in the road passenger transport industry and provide training to help people to start their careers or continue their professional development. This can be through funded programmes to help people who are long term unemployed to gain the skills needed for the industry or Continuing Professional Development for existing transport professionals.

Health and social care courses: We provide a range of programmes in health and social care that provide the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to progress within the health and social care sector. We also provide health and social care programmes related to the transport industry such as the Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) and training for Travel Trainers

Customer service courses: We prepare learners for rewarding careers in customer service roles through a selection of accredited programmes including BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service and Contact Centre Skills level 2

Skills for Work: We recognise that getting and keeping a job is not just about qualifications or technical skills, but can be about building confidence, work-readiness and the sort of skills that help people thrive in the workplace. We run a three-level programme aimed at helping learners take the steps they need to reach employment

Other programmes: We run a variety of other programmes including a travel training service, first aid training and more
