Outreach Worker, Learning Centre, Hackney £comp

Our Learning Centre has a vacancy for an Outreach Worker, who will be responsible for the recruitment of unemployed participants and volunteers onto our programmes – these include accredited and non-accredited training, mentoring and work placement programmes. The role also involves targeted outreach to engage young people and disabled people, alongside ensuring that all administrative process related to outreach are kept up to date.

The successful candidate will have experience of recruiting volunteers or participants for specific projects, programmes or initiatives – and an awareness of the equal opportunities implications of working in this environment. An ability to support and motivate volunteers and participants is also essential. The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator, able to impart information clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing to all potential audiences.

Job Coach, Learning Centre, Hackney £comp

Our Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Job Coach in a role aimed at helping people enhance their strengths and improve their job skills.  The role involves working with a wide range of people – from professionals seeking guidance for career development to disabled people who need support to thrive in the workplace.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a job coach, experience in developing employment plans, the ability to inspire and motivate – and possess the communication skills and critical thinking necessary to work with service users’ individual strengths and weaknesses to provide tailored support.  Experience in working with disabled people and a mentoring, coaching or IAG qualification would be distinct advantages.

Travel Trainers, Lambeth, £comp

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who can work independently to join our fast growing team of Travel Trainers in Lambeth.  Travel Training is a highly responsible and rewarding job, working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to help enhance their independence - and ultimately improve their life chances.

Travel Trainers work between 16-20 hours per week on a split shift, operating at school drop off and pick up times (approx. 7.30 – 9.30 am and 2.30 – 4.30 pm).  They are based in the community, working one-to-one to support individuals to travel independently using public transport.  These roles are based in Lambeth, with some requirement to travel to neighbouring boroughs as they accompany our young people to their schools or other educational establishments.

Successful candidates will need to have good communication skills, demonstrate an understanding of disability issues, and display a caring, patient and level headed attitude in the delivery of the service. They will have a genuine interest in working with vulnerable people and have the ability to communicate with people in a clear, pleasant and friendly manner. They must also be willing to undertake and to satisfy an enhanced DBS check.  Travel Training experience is not required as a full training package will be provided.

Customer Services Supervisor, Leeds, £Comp, Full Time

Our Community Transport organisation in Leeds is looking for a Customer Services Supervisor to manage the customer call centre, ensuring delivery of a high standard of customer service, provide information about the organisation and its services, supporting customers in the use of booking & payment systems and accurately recording all impact, customer bookings, billing and utilisation.

The successful candidate will be an excellent administrator, have experience working in a direct customer contact environment and be adaptable to changing technology. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a staff team, the ability to promote services in the community and the proven ability to meet deadlines and produce reports. An excellent telephone manner and confidence to communicate with individuals and groups from within the community both in person and via telephone is also required.

Community Engagement Officer, Leeds, £comp, 20-25 hours

Our Community Transport organisation in Leeds is looking for a Community Engagement Officer to improve access to our services. The role will involve actively seeing out new users, promoting the services to the wider community and encouraging participation.

As the role focuses on directly engaging with our user groups and potential user groups - seeking out potential new users, the successful candidate will be outgoing, and have a desire to engage with community groups and individuals from all backgrounds.

Attendance at community events is a requirement, therefore the successful applicant will need to have a flexible approach to working hours. Excellent geographical knowledge of Leeds is essential, the role will include travelling within the city (public transport, travel costs will be provided).

If you have a full, clean PCV licence and are interested in working from our Ash Grove bus depot in Hackney - or our Walthamstow Avenue depot in Walthamstow - we would be delighted to hear from you.

MyBus drivers, Leeds and Wakefield depots, from £9.01 per hour

CT Plus Yorkshire currently has a number of vacancies at its Leeds and Wakefield depots for qualified PCV drivers to deliver its MyBus home to school services.

A variety of vacancies currently exist as term time only drivers operating from our Leeds depot. Applicants must hold a valid Category D entitlement to drive PCV vehicles on their license, have no more than 6 penalty points and have completed at least 3 modules of their driver CPC qualification. They will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check as the posts will involve working with children.

We offer competitive rates of pay, starting from £9.01 per hour as well as training and other benefits.
