The Social Enterprise Champions Programme is now in its second year. The Champions are HCT Group staff from across the organisation – they could be drivers, passenger assistants or administrators.  Their role is to help their colleagues find out more about what social enterprise is all about – and why it’s a good idea. 

The first group of 18 Champions from across the organisation completed their programme in June at the launch of our Social Impact Report at the RSA in London. They had spent the preceding six months finding out about social enterprise, visiting exciting projects across the country and meeting our own service users to understand the social impact we have through our work.

Since then, they have been spreading the word back in their depots, helping out with staff inductions, and doing guided tours for visitors. 

Our first Champions will now be joined by 17 new Champions who started this year's programme in November 2011.
